Legoshire Hot Pots - He's Turned Emo

Wicked Stuff! Totally amazing. Watch this vid!

Lyrics...

Now my mate Geoff
I've known him for years
He loves his Madonna and his Britney Spears
Then one day I noticed a change
He went all moody and he didn't look the same
His eyes looked black
I said have you got a shiner?
When I looked closer he were wearing eyeliner
He'd straightened his hair
And combed it over his eyes
And all at once I realised

Oh no!
He's turned Emo
He's dressing like a Goth
and he's let himself go
He used to be a listening to Simply Red
Now he's listening to Fall Out Boy instead!

Well he weren't at the Labour Club for our regular line dance
He just stayed at home and listened to My Chemical Romance
I said you're not an Emo let's forget this misdemeanor
Come with me and see Cliff Richard at the MEN Arena
He said
'I'm feeling all emotional, I don't know why?'
I said
It's those tight trousers that are making you cry
Come and have a pint of mild and you'll feel fine
And listen to Abba not Bullet For My Valentine

Well I saw him yesterday when I were walking to the station
I could tell from a distance he were wearing foundation
He's painted his finger nails black, it looks quite poor
Looks like he's caught his fingers in a car door
He were wearing a man-bag that say's Jimmy Eats World
I said they wants to be eating chippy tea
You great big bloomin' girl!
He said
'I just want my emotions to be exposed'
Oh emotions thas from Lancashire
Thas not got none of those

What Style Suits Your Body Shape?

It's often said that you need a "good figure" to pull off a sari. That's just a bunch of hogwash cuz a person with a good figure can pretty much wear anything and look good...so I wanted to start a thread and discuss what styles and types of clothing suit what body shapes.

It's a well known fashion fact that choosing a certain style can help you enhance certain features and play down others that need not be as obvious.

How does this apply to desi attire? For example.....women that are less than average height and a little on the full-bodied side, don't look as attractive in saris as taller women do.

Kameez Shalwar - Short Kameez, full gher shalwar
this dus not look good on short and chubby girls they look more fat and short kameezes make them look fatter and sorr y to say really wierd

Kameez Shalwar - Long Kameez, full gher shalwar

this combo i dun like for anyone but long kameezes for me look good only on tall and model like figures....

Kameez Pajama - Short Kameez, straight-leg pajama/trouser
this would look fabulous on taller girls and girls a bit more on fatter side cuz i guess skinny girls look skinnier in capris or trousers i really wanna wear em but its just tht ppl tell me i look more skinny in em so i dun wanna wear em but i luvvvvvvv straight pants
Kameez Pajama - Short Kameez, chooridaar pajama
this dus not look really good on skinny and short girls so the opposite team wins this dress

Kameez Pajama - Long Kameez, straight-leg pajama/trouser
this is good for tall and short girls both i have heard it is said shorter ppl should wear longer shirts so they look taller.....but very skinny and tall ppl should avoid this dress as they would look like a ummm well...

Kameez Pajama - Long Kameez, chooridaar pajama
will look good on everyone except i guess some very healthy figures

Sari - Thin Border
thin to normal borders r a good choice for thinner ppl and dusnt really matter for fat ppl they can wear it too

Sari - Wide Border

this would not look so good on petite girls wid small framed body, short height and skinny....so heavy ppl good news u can go wid it ...wide borders look goods on ppl having wide shoulders
Lehnga - Full gher
skinny ppl and tall ppl
Lehnga - Mermaid
not good for very skinny ppl but better off for healthier ppl but not good for ppl having a very heavy bottom
Lehnga - Straight skirt aka Laacha
awsome for tall model like figurs and not bad for short smart ppl either

Gharara
i think fatter ppl should avoid gharara as tht would make them look more healthier
Sharara
whereas sharara is a good option for healthier ppl

Pakistani Famous Sexy Model Neha in hottest Saree

A sari / saree is the traditional female garment in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. A sari is a very long strip of unstitched cloth, ranging from four to nine metres in length, which can be draped in various styles. The most common style is for the sari to be wrapped around the waist, with one end then draped over the shoulder baring the midriff. The sari is usually worn over a petticoat (pavada/pavadai in the south, and shaya in eastern India), with a blouse known as a choli or ravika forming the upper garment. The choli has short sleeves and a low neck and is usually cropped, and as such is particularly well-suited for wear in the sultry South Asian summers. Cholis may be "backless" or of a halter neck style. These are usually more dressy with a lot of embellishments such as mirrors or embroidery and may be worn on special occasions.Women in the armed forces, when wearing a sari uniform, don a half-sleeve shirt tucked in at the waist.

How to do Smoky Eyes [Step By Step]

Smoky EyesSmoky eyes have become a classic party eye makeup look. The secret of this trend's popularity is that smoky eyes can change your face dramatically, transforming the girl-next-door into a stylish diva. Once you learn and master these application and blending techniques, the transition will take you only a few minutes. You can have irresistible-looking eyes, even if they are not big or bright.
Choosing colour

You will need one eye pencil, two colours of powder eyeshadow, and dark mascara to produce a fantastic smoky eyes effect.

The base eyeshadow should be a light and shimmery (not metallic) powder texture. Note that blending becomes more challenging if you use a creamy texture. Choose between lilac, light peach, or champagne for a soft and sophisticated look or use a white base with any dark contouring shade for a high-contrast dramatic look.
The contouring eyeshadow must be a dark, slightly shimmery colour, enhanced by eye pencil of the same shade. Choose between dark brown, blue, green, or purple, depending on the colour of your attire. Use black with any outfit for a stunning effect.

Choose soft eye pencil of the same colour as your contouring shade. Never use liquid eyeliner, it is for crisp lines, not the soft and sultry look we are aiming for here.

Black thickening mascara and stronger-than-usual eyebrows are in tune with smoky eyes makeup.

Smoky Eyes

Outline your eye contour with the eye pencil, all the way around. Make the line thicker along the upper lash line. Apply your base eyeshadow all over the upper eyelid. Blend well with a base brush.

Smoky Eyes

With a pointy sponge applicator, apply contouring eyeshadow along the lower lash line. Blend well with the pencil line using a small liner brush. Choose the spot where you will start applying contouring eyeshadow on the upper lid. Think of the point where your upper and lower eyelids come together, and lift that point halfway to the eyebrows.

Smoky Eyes

With a pointy sponge applicator, apply contouring eyeshadow in a horizontal ''V'' shape, starting from the spot defined in the previous step.

Smoky Eyes

With a medium-sized round brush (you can also use a flat one, holding it sideways), blend eyeshadow in the crease and along the upper lashes towards the inner corners of your eyes. Reapply and blend contouring colour in a ''V'' shape until you reach a desirable saturation.

Smoky Eyes

Connect your upper and lower lash lines by blending them together.

For an irresistible deep regard, outline the inside contour of your eyes with the same eye pencil.

Smoky Eyes

Don't forget to enhance your eyebrows to balance strong ''smoky eyes'' makeup.

Apply lots of mascara. Your eyes are now smokier then ever before!
Lollywood Movie Khuda kay liye

Iman AliKARACHI:
Shoaib Mansoor's long-awaited film Khuda Kay Liye (In The Name of God) premiered
on Sunday night at Karachi's Prince cinema.

This is Geo Films' first project and an effort to revive the cinema industry in Pakistan. The film will open throughout Pakistan on July 20. The path-breaking film stars Shaan, Iman Ali, Naseeruddin Shah and Fawad Khan.

An amazing mix of people came to watch the screening, including media professionals, artists, doctors, teachers, designers, Ulema, and even housewives among others. Among the celebrities present at the premiere included Javed Sheikh, Bushra Ansari, Behroze Sabzwari, Shakeel, Tapu Javeri, Saqib Malik, Deepak Perwani, Sonya Battla.

Of course, musicians were also there in full force. Rohail Hyatt-who's mixed the background score-Ali Azmat, Salman Ahmed and Faakhir were just some of the most prominent musicians present. Shoaib Mansoor has ties that bind with the music industry. Indeed, Khuda Kay Liye sends out a clear message that music and Islam are not mutually exclusive.

Going by the crowd that gathered at the premiere, Khuda Kay Liye is arousing great curiosity. After the doors were opened and people took their seats, the hall was packed to its capacity of 700. The cheering began as soon as the credits started rolling. It just showed how much people wanted to see a film that is made by one of them, about them and for them. Khuda Kay Liye is all this and more.

Shoaib Mansoor has crafted a plot straight from the heart. It is a story of two brothers who are pop musicians in Lahore, one of whom gets radicalised under the influence of extremists, while the other goes to America and gets unlawfully detained after 9/11. It is the story of Mary[Maryam], a British girl of Pakistani origin, who is brought to Pakistan by her father and married off against her will.

Khuda Kay Liye is a film all Pakistanis can relate to. The stories that are shown remind us of real life headlines and it seems that every character in the film is someone we've all encountered at some point or another.

There were moments of magic in the film, lines that were said, scenes that were set up that touched the audience so much that they burst into spontaneous applause. And when Imran Aslam, President of the Geo Television Network, called Shoaib Mansoor on stage to take a bow at the end, he received a raucous standing ovation.

Two middle-aged women discussing the movie on their way out, said: ''This movie is very timely. This is the kind of movie I want my children and everyone I know to watch, considering the state of the world today.''

Pop star Salman Ahmed said,''This movie reminded me that love always brings you to the right path. You can't force ideology.''Ali Azmat predicted that this film ''would change Pakistan.''

A young make-up artist, said: ''This movie showed me that Pakistani cinema is still there I would definitely come to a cinema to watch movies similar to this one.'' Khuda Kay Liye is infinitely superior in every way to standard Lollywood fare.

The enthusiasm and excitement of the audience proves that a bright future for cinema is possible in Pakistan. It seemed that people are hungry for the essence of this land and culture to be distilled and projected on cinema screens, like it once was.

Tanushree is on a roll these days. Her film 'Dhol' releases this week. She is pitched against not one, but four heroes! And next on her agenda is a role in the children's film, 'Rama – The Saviour'.

In fact, she is shooting for the same in Thailand these days. For her role of Samara, she has trained under Peter Hann, the martial arts expert. Her character in the movie is somewhat like Lara Croft of the 'Tomb Raiders' series.

A visibly kicked Tanushree says, "Though I have been to Bangkok earlier, I have never seen this part of Thailand." 'This part' is all jungle terrain, where she is learning to maneuver through the dense growth, as well as to act out her action scenes, including those with wild animals, despite her fears.

The film will have state-of-the-art special effects and animation. The action sequences promise to be stunning. Peter Hann has also worked with Yash Raj Studios for 'Tashan', so Bollywood is not new to him.

After her romantic girl image in 'Aashique Banaya Apne', a dramatic role in 'Raqueeb', and a campus girl in 'Good Boy Bad Boy', this is Tanushree's first action film. She will run, kick and punch the baddies in this one. And through it all, she remembers that 'Dhol' is releasing, and she says, "I am sure the audience will like it."

Hottest Iman Ali

Iman Ali (Urdu: امان علی) (born December 19, 1980) is a popular Pakistan-based model and actress. She is daughter of television and film actor Abid Ali and his wife Humaira Ali. Fashion critics rate her among the top models of Pakistan. She has been described as bold and beautiful amongst the fashion circles and loves to encourage other models who show talents. Iman Ali has a strong following among her fans especially among the youth of Pakistan. Iman Ali co-hosted the Lux Style Awards in 2005 and has starred in a string of successful television productions including Anarkali by Shoaib Mansoor. She has now moved on to cinema with Shoaib Mansoor's upcoming venture Khuda Ke Liye, where she will be seen alongside Fawad.

Iman Ali is also recognized in India because she has worked with several Indian designers. According to Iman she would work in a Indian movie if a good role is offered but would not take off her clothes or do cheesy roles like most Indian Actresses. Shaan has been quoted from an interview saying that models should stick to their work of modelling and avoid getting into acting without any prior knowledge. This comment is said to be for Iman, who stars in the movie Khuda Ke Liye, where Shaan is the main hero.

Imaan ali nonetheless earned critical claim for her first motion picture in comparison to other pakistani film actresses in her industry. Shaan's role was a force fit in the movie and he manages to also do a pretty good job.

Iman Ali has also starred in numerous plays such as "Woh Saat Din" a play based on the seven days on Indian Pakistani Partition, "Jaye Kahan Yeh Dil" a drama based on love and family relations and turmoil. Iman Ali has also starred in many short dramas as well.

Vaneeza Ahmad is a Pakistani model and actress. She is Pakistan's ultimate 'supermodel' a term she has disparaged in the past as she has said models in Pakistan don't exactly "live supermodel lives or have superpowers." Except perhaps Vinnie, as she is lovingly called within the Pakistani fashion industry. Vaneeza is a Cancerian. She has been working in the fashion industry for the last 15 years. She is currently making her travelogues around the world for cable TV, and in March 2006 designed her first local lawn (muslin) fabric collection V9. Utilizing her business acumen and creative skills she took career to new heights. Her V9 collection will in the future include a full collection of RTW and homewares, building one of Pakistan's first true lifestyle brands. Vaneeza also recently signed on as brand ambassador for Lux's new variant 'Aqua Sparkle' and brand ambassador for Mobilink's premier 'Indigo'

Vaneeza returned from Germany at 18, and decided to attend Lahore's Kinnaird College, as her medical school plans were thwarted by a lack of high school physics. A similar technicality ended hopes of going to NCA after she graduated from K.C. with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. She had started modeling causally while at K.C., and when offers came along notably from fashion designer Nilofer Shahid and photographer Khawar Riaz, she slipped easily into the model role, with an innate practicality that has served her well over the years. Vaneeza made her acting debut in Jamal Shah's controversial saga 'Kal'and has since acted in Marina Khan's Tum Hi Tau Ho,'Janey Anjaney' and 'Tum Say Mil Ker'; 'Armaan'; and'Talaash.' Vaneeza famously acted as the adult Dina in 'Jinnah', Jamil Dehlavi's 1998 biopic of the Qaid Mohammed Ali Jinnah.

Devdas won't Die this time!

For those purists who were appalled by the idea of Paro and Chandramukhi coming together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's interpretation of the classic , Sudhir Mishra's version of the epic which he starts shooting on October 20, promises to deliver a jolting blow.

In Mishra's revisionist version of the re-located classic the doomed hero not only gets Chandramukhi, he also lives, arguing that life without Paro is as good as death.

But Devdas without his death?!

The film's producer Pritish Nandy seems pretty prepared to take on the purists. "Classics mutate with time. They change so many colours. I had decided to do our own version of Devdas after I had seen Sanjay Leela Bhansali's version.

As a Bengali I couldn't connect with his lavish operatic mood. Saratchandra's version of the tale was all about austerity, holding back rather than unleashing a torrent of emotions."

The kingpin of Pritish Nandy Communication seems undaunted by the criticism that's awaiting him. "Fear of falling has never stopped me from climbing higher. Our Devdas goes back to its literary roots, though it's set in contemporary times."

Sawariya's inside Information

Contrary to reports about Monty Sharma being under pressure to deliver the right background music for Sawariya the podgy versatile composer has actually started work on the non-vocal aspect of the film's epic music.

Says a source very close to the project, "Where's the question of Monty being pressurized by the director to scrap and re-do the background music when in fact Monty began composing Sawariya 's background score only on Wednesday morning?"

Prior to that Sanjay and Monty spent more than one year finalizing the tunes, vocalists and arrangements for all the songs.

Says the source, "Though the music of Bhansali's films has always been a predominant motif, never has so much stress been put on putting across the drama and emotions of the script through the songs. There are love songs, mujras, a qawwalli…it's Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most ambitious score ever."

No wonder the most eagerly-awaited music soundtrack of 2007 is undoubtedly Sawariya.

Now it can be told. Sawariya has a total of 11 songs by singers as varied as Alka Yagnik, Kunal Ganjawala and Richa Sharma. Not all the songs will feature in the film.

Coming back to the background score, Monty Sharma has already proved his passion and prowess in the non-vocal arena with his background scores for Sanjay Bhansali's Devdas and Black.

"Monty is expected to take at least the next two months to compose the background music. That's how long it took him to do the score for Black," adds the source.

The music on the Sony /BMG label was released this week, while the film's release date remains unchanged at November 9. A separate album of Sawariya's background score is expected to be released after the film's release.

Kareena dumped Shahid for Saif?

The gossip mills are now churning out stories of Kareena and Saif's new found attraction everyday. Looking at their frequency of meeting it clearlt seems like their friendship maybe turning into something more.

The duo were recently seen enjoying a late night swim at the JW Marriott pool around closing time of 10 pm.

On Thrusday, Bebo, launched the music of her forthcoming film Jam We Met at a special recording session of Zee TV's popular music show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, in Mumbai. Though Saif did not attend the show but he picked up Kareena after it ended. The two left together in Saif's car, with Kareena's car following them.

The actress who turned 27 on friday threw a huge bash at designer Aki Narula’s home in Juhu but Shahid was no where to be seen. Though he was planning to come down from Toronto he later changed his mind as his ladylove seems in no mood for a reconciliation and has been openly flaunting new flame Saif.

Rumour has it that Shahid is keeping a close eye on entire situation through media news.

The actor has reportedly been spotted buying electronic gadgets too woo Bebo back. His close friends maintain that Shahid not only wants to revive his relationship with Kareena but also wants to put an end to the speculation that his affair with her is a thing of past.

We wish the poor guy good luck!
To Blow Dry or To Air Dry?

Should the hair be blow dried or air dried?
It is a matter of preference, actually. Some people do not have much time to devote to styling their hair, or want to achieve the maximum styling they can get for their hair, so they opt for blow-drying it. On the other hand, there are some people who think that blow-drying is a waste of electricity and is the quickest way of damaging the hair, so they opt to have it air dried.

Which is better, you may ask?
Both ways of drying the hair have their advantages and disadvantages, and there are proper and improper ways of doing both. Read on and find out what these are.

Air drying. Air drying is usually done by people who have short and low-maintenance hairstyles, or by people with curly hair. There are also people who have long hair yet have their hair air dry, as air drying does not subject the hair to excessive heat. Therefore, the hair is not as susceptible to damage as hair that is blow dried.

If you are going to have your hair air dried, it is very important to remember that the hair is at its weakest when it is wet. So, take care not to rub your hair dry with the use of a towel. The friction caused by rubbing the hair with a towel will make the hair brittle and eventually break. Rather than rubbing it, you should instead blot the moisture out of your hair with the towel. Also, be careful not to tug or pull at your hair that much when it is still wet. Once the water is blotted out of the hair, fluff it out with your fingers.

Blow Drying. Blow drying the hair is the most convenient way of doing it, and because most people live fast-paced lives, blow drying the hair is the way most people want to do it. Moreover, drying the hair using a blower adds volume to the hair. But inasmuch that blow drying is very convenient, it is also dangerous to the hair, especially if overdone. It can make the hair very brittle.

If you blow dry your hair, make sure that it is not soaking. Blot the water out with a towel first. Do not hold the dryer too close to your head; keep it at least six inches away from your hair and move the dryer constantly around your head. Protect the outer strands of your hair from being over-dried by bending over and blow drying your hair with your hair hanging upside down. Also, try not to dry your hair completely with the blow dryer. Stop while the hair is still slightly damp.

Whether you air dry your hair or you blow dry it is completely your own choice based on your own lifestyle and preferences. But whatever you do, always remember that the hair is fragile. Be careful while handling it.
Herbal Help for Acne

If you have acne you’ve probably tried all the over the counter products and maybe even the prescription products on the market. Perhaps they don’t work for you or they irritate your skin and dry it out. There are other options. Herbal treatments and nutritional supplements can also help with acne, either applied directly to the skin or taken orally.

Zinc supplements worked wonders for me. I take 50 milligrams a day, twice daily and it helps keep my skin clearer than any prescription I’ve ever tried. You can find Zinc at a grocery store or drug store in the aisle with vitamin and mineral supplements. At Wal-Mart it’s only $2.13 a bottle. You can also order from catalogs and online websites.

Herbs that work wonders at clearing up acne are: Echinacea taken orally and applied externally to the skin, Oregon grape root applied as a cream, tea tree oil applied to the skin, oregano and basil oil applied to the skin or taken orally.

Be careful using any new product because you may be sensitive to it and if you are using any prescriptions or other topical acne treatments you might have to watch out for reactions. Check with your dermatologist to make sure it is alright to use any herbal treatments with the medicine you are already using.
Get Rid of Acne Scars

At some point you had acne, now you are left with embarrassing, ugly scars. There are ways to diminish and reduce the appearance of the acne scars. The severity of the scars will determine what you will need to do to diminish them. I would recommend seeking advice from a dermatologist or a cosmetic surgeon to determine the best course of action.

For very mild scarring you can try a few at home procedures and products to help reduce the appearance of the scars. At home dermabrasion and chemical peels can help diminish some scarring especially if you also use retinol or alpha hydroxyl acid lotions or creams. For sensitive skin you may not want to apply retinol or alpha hydroxyl products right after dermabrasion or peels because it can cause redness and irritation. Other products you can try are scar reducing creams like Mederma or Rosehip seed oil which is said to be great at reducing scar tissue. Aloe Vera juice and gels and lavender oils are also said to work well on reducing scars.

Professional treatments for scarring include Laser Resurfacing which involves the use of a laser to remove skin so new skin can form in its place. Laser resurfacing can cause uneven skin tones in people with darker skin. It is still being studied but shows a lot of promise. After treatment you may experience redness and swelling which may last for several weeks.

Dermabrasion has been around for decades. Originally sandpaper was used to remove damaged skin. Now a machine rotates to remove the damaged skin, the skin is numbed or frozen first. After the procedure your skin is raw and scabs will form. After the scabs heal your skin will be reddish for several weeks.

Augmentation is a procedure where material like collagen or your own fat will be injected under the scar to bring it to the surface. The treatments last for about six months but they are working on more permanent solutions.

Subcision is a technique that detaches the scar from deeper tissue and allows a pool of blood to form under the scar. The blood clots and helps form connective tissue under the scar to level it with the rest of the skin surface. Subcision is usually combined with either dermabrasion or laser resurfacing.

The depth and shape of your scars will determine what treatment your doctor will recommend
How To Create Beautiful Smoky Cat Eyes

It is easier than you might think to create professional looking, ‘sex kitten’, smoky eyes . This vampy look can be as subtle or dramatic as you wish. The tips below will create a more powerful look in black, but to achieve a more understated look simply select light grey, burgundy or dark khakis instead.
Remember, a lot depends on your skin tone and hair color - see blonde to brunette, so why not try a few different tones to see which suits you best?

Ingredients for powerfully sexy eye makeup:

* Black eyeliner - pencil. Ensure that it is sharp.
* Black eyeliner - brush. The thinner the liquid eyeliner is the better.
* Eye shadow brush. Thin stumpy bristles are best to maintain control.
* Dark eye shadow. Irridescent rather than flat matt (too hard), or shiny (too messy).
* Highlight shimmer for under the eyebrow. Avoid garish looking ‘high glitter’.
* A good eyebrow pencil. Try to select the most natural shade for you as possible.
* Eyelash curlers - see Jessica Alba.
* Black mascara. Obviously choose a quality brand to avoid clumping and ‘spider eyes’.

Step-by-step instructions for smoky cat eyes :

* Apply your foundation, under eye concealer and powder.
* Using your black eyeliner pencil, start from the front corner of your eyelid. Draw a soft smudge line to the end of your lash line.
* Use your eyeshadow brush to apply the dark eye shadow over the top of the smudged line for a soft smoky look. Ensure that the edges are neatly blended.
* Then take the brush eyeliner and apply as close to your lashes as you can on the top lid only. Make the line as thick and pronounced as you wish, but make sure that the line is thickest at the outer corner, and thinner as you go inward.
* Apply another smoky coat of eye shadow with the brush to blend the harsh edges.
* Subtly blend your darker eye shadow up from your lashes to your eye crease. Then apply a shimmery highlight in white or cream under the outside corner of your eyebrow.
* Use your eyebrow pencil to make your eyebrow curve more pronounced.
* Curl your eyelashes, then apply thin coats of mascara, building the layers up gradually to avoid clumping.
*

Congratualations! You have achieved guaranteed show stopping impact! You go girl!
The Right Foundation

With so many varieties of foundation on the market today, as well as over fifty shade selections, finding the right foundation can be daunting. If your skin is oily, you will want to use an oil free or water-based foundation.
Dry skin works best with a liquid foundation or rich cream.
Test foundation just under the jaw line. This will immediately let you know if it will be invisible on the face, The mistake many women take is to test color on cheek, which is often darker than the other parts of the face, or worse, on the back of the hand.
Women of color have yellow pigments, so they should look for foundation with yellow undertones in oil-free formulations. Darker skin reflects more light and is generally more oily.

Application

* Moisturize face and let it absorb. This keeps foundation on top of the skin.

* Stroke it on and blend quickly.

* Set it by dipping a brush into powder and going over the face in circular strokes. Don't worry about getting every bit of shine off your face. A matter face looks dated.
Natural Look
Putting on makeup can be a daunting task for women who are not really adept at the art of makeup and are not familiar with the right techniques and with picking the right colors for their skin tone and eye color. Common fears include choosing the wrong colors for the skin or colors that do not match the outfit, putting on too little or too much, or botching the makeup altogether. Instead of putting on makeup, there are women who opt for just the ordinary face powder or talcum powder and a dash of lipstick (which may or may not be the right color for their lips either), and then they are done.

Makeup is supposed to enhance the features of our face rather than to cover it, and nothing is more alluring than what is known as the natural look. For those who do not know much about makeup, or know nothing at all, achieving the natural look is pretty easy. The key to doing it is matching the color of your foundation with the tones of your skin, as well as using shades that go well with the undertones of your skin.

A quick tip: when buying foundation, test the match of the product with your skin tone by applying it against your jaw line and letting it on your face for a few minutes. Go ahead and see how it looks like in daylight, rather than in artificial light to see how well it goes with your skin. The perfect foundation for you blends well with the color of your skin, so much that it is hardly noticeable.

If your skin has beige tones
. If your skin has beige tones with a touch of peach or pink, the colors you should go for are shades of peach, pink and apricot for your lips and cheeks. Cover up whatever blemishes you have on your skin with a concealer before applying the foundation, and then dust the foundation off with matching loose powder. Make sure that your foundation has SPF because skin like yours burns easily under the sun. Also, try not to put on too much makeup on your face because too much will look harsh on your skin and make you look older. Finish off with a shimmering peach or pink lip gloss.

If your skin has olive tones. If your skin has olive tones, the best way to go is with foundation with warm colors like golden brown. Skin with olive tones is also generally oilier than most, so try to stay away from foundation with shimmer in it to reduce the shine. For a sun-kissed look, apply a touch of bronzer on the apples of your cheeks, the bridge of your nose and a little on your forehead. For your lips, outline it with a nude-colored lip pencil, and then apply clear gloss.

If your skin has yellow tones. If your skin has yellow tones, stay away from ivory or pink for your foundation and stick to warmer hues with a yellow base. Also, avoid using powder foundations; yellow-toned skin tends to get dry and flaky, and so powder foundations will only emphasize this unnecessarily. Finish with a light cream blush, colored pink, on the apples of your cheeks, and a light pink gloss for your lips.

To get a smoother finish on your foundation, apply moisturizer on your skin first as a base. Remember to put on only the right amount of moisturizer and dab off any excess with tissue. Too little moisturizer will make it hard for the foundation to blend, and too much will make your makeup run off your skin.

Achieving the natural look is easy. You don’t have to be a makeup wiz to do it, and it is perfect for those who want the gorgeous yet understated look.

Difference between scene kids and emo kids?

There is a recurring conversation at school, at home and here on the net over the differences between these various people. How can you tell the difference between the two? I have some friends that consider themselves scene kids. They are really nice people. The idea of being "scene" is usually knowing a lot about the local bands/music scene. "Emo" is as always "Emotional" were as scene kids, I believe is more of the style and looking like an emo without the personality of it all. People who only follow the fashion and style, while emo kids follow the fashion, the style and the lifestyle.
