Yunginz kids shoes

Shoes are a hot topic in our house and it's great to see some fun kids shoes designed in Australia. Yunginz creates leather footwear for children from 1-6 years with a focus on quality and comfort. If you are concerned about support, Yunginz shoes include cushioned inner soles, toe reinforcements and arch, heel and ankle support.

Czarque Baby Shoes

I'm always looking out for cool shoes for babies and toddlers, especially those made in Australia. Czarque creates soft leather-soled baby shoes in the chicest of styles.

Czarque shoes are designed for newborns through to confident walking toddlers and feature brushed suede soles made in Sydney from high quality Australian leather. There are a variety of slip-on styles available for boys and girls, as well as a range of Christening shoes.

And if cute, Aussie-made baby shoes are not enough, Czarque is also committed to donating a percentage of profits to a charity that is working towards the eradication of world poverty.

Hunter Baby clothes for baby boys plus WIN! (now closed)

We all know that girls get most of the love when it comes to kids fashion. Boys aren't catered to quite as much, which is why it is really lovely to find a label designed just for boys.

Melbourne-based Amanda Moore wrote to me recently to introduce her lovely label Hunter Baby for boys only (yeah!) from newborn to size one. In collaboration with fellow mother Belle Anderson, Amanda is leveraging her background in fashion design to create classic styles and no-nonsense designs for little tykes.

The Winter 2011 collection includes onesies, pants, tops, wraps and bandana bibs in preppy stripes and colourways in 100% cotton. It's the details that really elevate the range - you'll find elbow patches and multi-coloured buttons, embroidery and contrasting linings. It's a classy collection with basics that won't ride up but will turn heads. Nanna would definitely approve.

But wait, there's more. Amanda and Belle from Hunter Baby are offering the iconic Oscar Onesie Top to one lucky Bondville reader towin! All you need to do is comment below with your favourite boys' name; winner to be chosen by Hunter Baby. Thanks Hunter Baby!

Ivy Designs clothes for girls

I love hearing from Bondville readers, especially about your talents and creations. I was thrilled to hear from Wynona who introduced me to the children's label that she has developed with her sister Anna -Ivy Designs. I immediately feel in love with the stylish range of clothes for girls.

Based in Sydney, Ivy Designs are fun, bold pieces featuring gorgeous detail such as appliqué, quirky buttons, and ric rac. Designed to mix and match, you'll find delicate peasant blouses, fun pinnies, pocket skirts, cord pants, kimono jackets, rosette hair clips, bibs and t-shirts.

I'd love the flannel and cord Love Birds skirt and matching kimono jacket (see top image) for a special occasion and the Audrey cord pants with Amy peasant blouse (in gorgeous Amy Butler fabric of course) for every day. Well done Wynona and Anna on a beautiful collection. I can't wait to see Spring/Summer 09/10!

Mini Life girls clothes

I adore the first summery collection by new kids clothing label Mini Life. Based on the Sunshine Coast (can't you just tell!), Natalie and Donna have launched a gorgeous range of dresses, tops, skirts, shorts and swimwear for girls in sizes 3-8.

These are beautifully crafted clothes that truly evoke long, hot days by the beach. The trims and details are really lovely and I'm excited about the fresh colour combinations.

The Mini Life girls have had huge success with their launch already and are expanding the range to include sizes 9-12 for Winter 2010. Congratulations Natalie and Donna!

Jetta's Nest children's clothes

I first met artist Samantha from Jetta's Nest at our Brown Owls group in Brisbane where she wowed us all with an incredible doll she had made with an intricately-painted sassy face. Since then, Sam's gorgeous faces have gone on to adorn button badges, as well as a range of soft toys, prints, art cards and gorgeous clothes for kids.

I particularly adore the range of Jetta's Nest appliqued children's clothes that incorporate Sam's art along with recycled/vintage materials. I have proudly collected a few pieces for little Sophie (both above) including the one-of-a-kind toadstool top and the gorgeous Flutterby top made from a recycled Holly Hobbie quilt cover, recycled doily and recycled buttons. Both destined for the "keep me" pile of special clothes.

October is a really important month for us to all do our small part for Breast Cancer Awareness and Sam is generously donating 50% of the proceeds of her limited edition pink Lola Buttonhead brooches to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
