Heather McComb born March 2, 1977 in Barnegat Township, New Jersey is an American actress. McComb started acting at age 2 in a commercial for Publisher's Clearing House. When she appeared in the telefilm "Generation X" in 1996, she became the first actress to portray the X-Men character of Jubilee on screen. She joined the cast of Party of Five in 1998, playing the part of Maggie.
James Van Der Beek is now one step closer to freedom, reaching a settlement with his estranged wife to amicably end their seven-year marriage this week. Per court documents, the former Dawson's Creek star and McComb hashed out the deal through mediation. He agreed to pay $7,750 a month until 2013. Heather McComb, a onetime Party of Fiver who has guested on CSI and Prison Break, currently earns just $1,750 a month. The Beek? $35,000. Damn.
The actor will also retain possession of the couple's Hollywood home and keep residuals from his acting career and various projects/screenplays he's optioned/written. Van Der Beek and McComb, 32, tied the knot in July 2003. He filed for divorce late last year citing irreconcilable differences. The couple does not have any children.

The couple met while Van Der Beek was working on the WB series Dawson’s Creek. McComb’s sister was reportedly the former couple’s matchmaker. Although the actress did not find work as a series regular she continued to land several roles. Heather McComb nabbed work on the set of Sirens, Chicago Hope, X Files and Grace Under Fire. Finally after years of hard work McComb was cast in the movies Beethoven’s 2nd and Stay Tuned.
